Chef Mr. G. Venugopal is from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and has been living in Japan since 2000. He has several decades of experience in the hospitality sector as a chef. He opened his first restaurant in Tokyo Kinshicho, specializing in South India cuisines. He is famously known as Chef Venu in the locality and thus chose to name the restaurant as Venu’s South Indian Dining. Chef. Venu prefers cooking the dishes in an authentic yet simple way and has been successful in retaining the original flavour of the dishes.
